Professional Statement
Dr. Habib completed her Ophthalmology residency at Columbia University. She went on to complete an Ocular Oncology fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. She completed an additional fellowship in Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
She is certified as an ASPORS surgeon; a distinction held only by a few hundred surgeons worldwide. She is also one of the first doctors to offer a groundbreaking — treatment for thyroid eye disease (TED), TEPEZZA®.
Dr. Habib serves as teacher and mentor at Yale School of Medicine for physicians completing their Ophthalmology residency, and was awarded Yale School of Medicine’s Best Surgical Teacher. Logging thousands of hours in the operating room, she strives to advance her surgical techniques and perfect her craft.
